Dominic Fanning

Director Environmental InSites 

Dominic Fanning has over 30 years experience in biological science and ecological consulting. He has expertise in ecological assessment, the Land and Environment Court and the integration of ecological planning in property developments. He has consulted to the School of Biological Science at UNSW, Taronga Zoo’s Conservation Research Centre and provided advice through his own environmental consultancy – Gunninah Environmental Consultants (GEC).

In 2006 GEC merged with InSites bringing his environmental management and assessment skills to complement our other property services. Dominic is a member (and past committee member) of the Environment Institute of Australia, the Environment and Planning Law Association and the Urban Development Institute of Australia. He regularly lectures on the interpretation and application of environmental legislation and policies and the role of experts in court proceedings.
